Russ Norris has been an agent with Mathews Insurance since 1997.  He services personal and commercial property and casualty accounts as well as providing Specialty Insurance Risk services.  Russ has been a resident of Athens most of his life, graduating from Athens High School in 1990 and then Ohio University with a bachelors in Business and a Masters in Sports Administration. After living several years in Charlotte NC, he has moved back to Athens with his wife, Jennifer, and their three sons.  He serves as an advisor to the Alexander Soccer Club and coaches two youth teams.  Russ has served on several community not for profit boards and is a member of the Inaugural Class for Leadership Athens County; also he is an active member and past President of the Athens AM Rotary Club. The Norris family are very active members of the Athens Church of Christ.
