Brenda James has owned and operated her own agency, The James Insurance Agency, for 10 years prior to joining Mathews Insurance in 2006. The James Insurance Agency still operates as a division of Mathews Insurance.  Brenda  manages the McConnelsville office and works in the Athens area as well. She specializes in hospitality risks and non-profits as well as individual auto/home accounts.  Brenda is a director of the First National Bank of McConnelsville and the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. She is currently serving her second term as chairman of the Ohio Leadership Council for NFIB. Brenda is one of the co-founders of Morgan County Habitat for Humanity and is also supporter of the Opera House Theater and other community non-profits. She resides in Stockport with her husband, Jeff, and have three grown children.
